Kambo Ceremonies in Ogden, Utah
The next Kambo group ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 18, 9am.
Kambo is the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, used for generations by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon in traditional cleansing and spiritual practices.
Traditionally, Indigenous peoples have used Kambo in connection with Panema, a term associated with heavy or stagnant energy, misfortune, or spiritual imbalance. Beyond the Amazon, Kambo has been embraced as a practice for cleansing and personal transformation on physical, emotional, and energetic levels, as well as for releasing patterns that may hinder us from living in greater alignment with our highest potential.
Ogden Kambo serves the local community and clients throughout Northern Utah, including Ogden, Layton, Clearfield, Weber County, Davis County, and the greater Salt Lake City area. We honor the traditional roots of Kambo. All sessions are facilitated by an experienced practitioner who has guided hundreds of sessions. Ceremonies, whether private or in a group setting, are held in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring each participant’s experience is held with care and respect.
Kambo secretion contains numerous bioactive peptides, some of which have been studied in laboratory and preclinical research for a variety of biological activities. Research into these individual peptides continues, but these findings should not be interpreted as evidence that Kambo itself treats or cures specific medical conditions.
Kambo is not a controlled substance under U.S. federal law, but it is an intense practice and is not appropriate for everyone. Careful health screening, preparation, and experienced facilitation are important.
Within traditional and contemporary Kambo practice, the experience is understood as extending beyond the physical. Many participants approach this sacred medicine for cleansing, emotional release, spiritual growth, and energetic clearing. At Ogden Kambo, we honor this holistic perspective, recognizing the physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of the experience.
